My professional work is about making complex, regulated work clearer, safer, and easier to act on without losing sight of the people carrying it.
Why these lenses
I started in biology and vaccine development, spent time close to pharmaceutical R&D, became increasingly interested in technology, and later added an MBA lens around leadership and business decisions. Quality, risk, and change management became the place where those experiences connect: real science, complex systems, business tradeoffs, and people who have to make the work hold up under pressure.
My operating belief
Pharmaceutical R&D has far more failures than successes. That makes judgment, documentation, risk thinking, adoption, and business discipline matter. The goal is not bureaucracy. The goal is to make complex work safer, clearer, economically realistic, and more capable of helping people.

The frame
The best systems make good decisions easier to repeat. They clarify risk, preserve evidence, support change, and connect technical choices to business value. I try to think like an owner: what decision creates trust, protects people, and makes the system stronger over time?
Quality
In regulated work, good intentions are not enough. Quality asks whether the process is controlled, whether the evidence supports the decision, and whether the system can be trusted when the work becomes complex.
Risk
Risk is not only about avoiding failure. It is about understanding severity, probability, detectability, tolerance, and consequence so the business can move with eyes open instead of reacting after the damage is already visible.
Change
A good technical decision can still fail if people cannot adopt it. Change management connects the decision to training, communication, timing, ownership, and the human reality of how work actually gets done.
Business
My MBA changed how I see systems. I think about incentives, tradeoffs, cost, risk tolerance, customer impact, operational friction, and whether a decision helps the business create durable value instead of only solving the problem directly in front of it.
In practice
Risk thinking is useful only when it changes what people decide, what they document, and how confidently the business can move.
A technically correct improvement still fails if the people carrying it do not understand the why, the timing, or the new behavior expected of them.
Quality work should reveal weak signals early: unclear ownership, missing evidence, brittle process design, or decisions made without enough context.
Processes do not run themselves. People interpret them, stress-test them, work around them, improve them, and sometimes break them.
