Technology Is an Enabler

Technology matters most when it helps people do something useful, humane, or previously impossible.

Technology is an enabler, not a destination.

Tools matter because of what they let people do. The right question for any new technology, AI included, is not how impressive it is, but who it enables and toward what. Used that way, technology multiplies human effort instead of replacing it.

It is easy to become impressed by technology for its own sake. New tools can feel powerful, novel, and inevitable. But the better question is not simply what can this do? It is who does this help, and toward what end?

Technology is at its best when it expands human capability. That is the thread running through Technology Is Easy to Miss: tools help us communicate, discover, build, heal, learn, automate, test, and improve.

AI Is Here to Stay is the clearest current example. AI can multiply effort, but it still needs human direction, context, ethics, and accountability. The tool is not the destination. The human purpose behind the tool is.
